Traffic and Road Safety

Alongside the more traditional individual and family responses, community interventions have been designed to catalyze change in the environment of children and youth at-risk and supply holistic and sustainable responses to their needs. Other local governments offer internships and training programs to help engage and recruit young people interested in working for public agencies. Planning for a future becomes possible

Compared to the control group that underwent Wraparound as usual, the AMP group showed significantly increased scores in domains measuring active participation and engagement during team meetings. AMP consisted of youth engaging in three individualized prep sessions with a coach that focused on identifying strengths and goals, setting the meeting agenda, and preparing for meeting participation. Total group engagement increased significantly across sessions (p Walker et al. developed Achieve My Plan (AMP), consisting of pre-meeting prep sessions, as an engagement strategy for their already established Wraparound service.
