Village Screenings
Goa, boosts exceptional talent in art, music and drama. Surprisingly this talent is born in remote villages and often fades of lack of opportunities. This talent needs to be channelized. Film provides the much needed platform to these artistes. Cinema incorporates every form of art. The abundance of local talent in art is the raw material for a quality cinema. If cinema reaches villages, it will help create the environment of sensitivity. In turn It will create sensitive artists. Since Goa does not have enough theaters, the only way to reach people is by way of video projections. Our mission is to reach to every corner of Goa and screen films with support of locals.
Workshops and Lectures
Conducting workshops is another aspect of developing awareness of medium of cinema. Most of our artists have Theatre background, it’s essential to educate them about the difference of approach in Theatre and Cinema. I have tried to visit schools, institutes to lecture on cinema and its appreciation. I have been regularly conducting classes for students in and outside Goa, but more needs to be done in this area.
Film Clubs
Promoted films in Goa with Entertainment Network Of Goa, and also assisted other film clubs and organizations to screen films. Film clubs like Moving Images, Film Goa, V.A.A, Patrakar Sangh , Goa Union of journalist, positive people etc.
